BSC's mainnet is preparing for a hard-fork release with two scheduled upgrades named Plato and Hertz (Berlin, London). Plato introduced a Fast Finality Mechanism, and Hertz ported certain upgrades from Ethereum for compatibility, including several Berlin and London upgrades.
